This brand-new house was a dream home for the young couple with a daughter. The house hosts very frequent social gatherings and guests. The aesthetics and visual comfort is important but accommodating their day-to-day activities and their needs is also crucial.We always believe that spaces should be designed in such a way that they should act as background to the activities happening in the house, background to the Life inside those spaces.The overall design of the house is kept minimal in its language.
Colours become the main element that responds to individual personalities of the family members, the spaces that they can be identified as their own. The house offers a large public space including lobby, living room, dining room and a kitchen area. Living room extends into the terrace area to make it one large gathering space at the time of social gatherings. The blue connects all these public areas together making them one. The blue public spaces are young, vibrant and full of energy yet are subtle and elegant.
The green along with wood in the work area provides a calm and formal feel to the space. The same room is used as a guest room and hence has a small bed. Red in the Master bedroom makes it warm and cosy.
Daughter’s room was provided with a bunk bed to provide open space for the activity area below the bed. Purple along with pink in daughter's bedroom makes it cheerful and fresh.
